This look was inspired by the belt, which has blue and red colors. This led to various pictures in my mind about this two colors combined with something mustard or yellow. (I often create my outfits when I’m bored and have nothing to do). So I started looking for a bag that had a mustard tone but found myself loving the look with this yellow top instead of the one I had picked before. So here is the final product.

  Este look lo cree a partir del cinturón azul con rojo, y a partir de eso empecé a crear distintas pintas.  Tenía en mente combinarlo con un color amarillo o mostaza como he visto previamente a bloggers o influencias de la moda. ( Casi siempre me la paso creando mis looks cuando estoy aburrida y no tengo nada que hacer). Entonces empecé a buscar un bolso mostaza pero encontré que me gustaba más la combinación con esta blusa amarilla en vez del top que había escogido antes. Aquí les dejo el producto final.

This outfit consists of the combination of tones that make a nice contrast with each other: Yellow, two kinds of red and blue.

El outfit consiste en la combinación de estos tonos que crean un buen contraste al unirse: el amarillo, el azul y dos distintos tonos de rojo.

The yellow blouse that has fake shoulders  n combination with the ripped jeans are combined together by the blue and red belt. I left the jean without folding at the ends so it gave the effect of longer legs and also because the distress at the bottom made the look more fun.

La blusa de tono amarillo con hombros falsos y el  jean roto son combinados por la correa  azul con rojo. El jean no lo doble en las puntas para que diera el efecto en combinación con los tacones de unas piernas más largas y también porque las hilachas rotas en los bordes hacen ver el look más divertido.

For the red tones I used similar but not exact colors. By doing this I kept the tones in the same family but not boring to the eye. For this I used my crossbody Valentino Bag and pointy passion fruit heels from Zara.

Para los tonos rojos use colores parecidos pero no iguales. Al hacer esto el look combina tonos de la misma familia pero sin ser aburridos al ojo. Para esto utilice mi bolso cruzado Valentino y unos tacones de punta de color curuba de Zara.

For accessories I selected a gold watch to go with the yellow tone of the blouse, some gold and silver circular earrings and a small pearl necklace. 

Para los accesorios escogí un reloj dorado que siguiera los tonos de la blusa amarilla, unos aretes circulares plateados con dorado y un gargantilla con una perla.

The sunglasses I kept neutral by choosing black ones so it didn’t affect the tones of the outfit.

Las gafas que escogí fueron negras y neutras para así no afectar los tonos de la pinta.

Silver tones are everywhere right now and combine perfectly with blue and white tones and those were my inspiration this morning.

Los tonos plateados están en todas partes en este momento y van en perfecta combinación con los tonos azules y blancos los cuales fueron  mi inspiración en esta mañana.

The outfit consisted on an oversized button up shirt that has white and blue lines. I folded the sleeves so it had a more relaxed vibe. For bottoms I choose my ripped white jeans that are not only comfortable but are very stylish too. This too I folded once in the end.

El look consiste en una camisa de botones manga larga que tenía líneas azules con blancas y era unas tallas más grandes de lo normal. Le doble varias veces las mangas para darle al look una vibra un poco más  relajada. Para la parte de abajo escogí mi jean blanco roto que no solo es cómodo pero muy elegante. Estos también los doble una vez en la parte de abajo.

For my purse which was  the inspiration of the outfit I choose this new leather mini purse that has a silver tone with some kind of rugged texture. It went perfectly with the tones of the clothing and made my look pop.

Escogí este bolso plateado que fue la inspiración de la pinta. Este es un bolso pequeño de cuero que además de tener tonos plateados tiene una textura rugosa y esta hizo que el bolso resaltará aún más los tonos del look.

For shoes I choose my ultimate favorite silver high heels. They have this thick buckle that gave the look a more curious and cool vibe and it made the outfit more fun but still keeped the entire look very sophisticated.

Para los zapatos escogí mis tacones plateados favoritos que tienen esta hebilla gruesa que hizo que el look fuera más curioso y cool y como resultado hizo la pinta más divertida pero sin perder su lado sofisticado.

For sunnies I choose this black and blue sunglasses that didn’t take away the attention from the silver tones and at the same time gave me a very cool vibe due to its color and symmetric way.

Para las gafas de sol escogí unas negras con azul que no le quitaron la atención a los tonos plateados y que al mismo tiempo le dieron un toque cool a la pinta debido a su color y su forma simétrica.

Textures were a big thing in New York for the spring 2017 fashion shows.

El uso de diferentes texturas fue un gran hit en Nueva York para la semana de la moda Primavera 2017.

I here present you three of my favorite fashion bloggers and how they mixed textures and patterns and their influence in NYFW.

Aquí les presento a tres de mis blogueras favoritas y como ellas mezclaron texturas, patrones y la  influencia que tuvieron en NYWF.

Chiara combined  sweaters with metallic flowers and a cotton skirt, also  jean with leather, black Velvet with metallic buttons and details with a white plain dress and a black sweater with sequin red lips and a red leather skirt. Her style was fun, daring and out there and as always killed this fashion week.

Chiara combinó suéteres con flores metálicas y una falda de algodón, también uso el cuero y el jean juntos, un blazer negro de material de terciopelo que tenía detalles y botones plateados y finalmente un suéter negro con labios rojos de lentejuela y una falda de cuero roja. Su estilo fue divertido, atrevido y expuesto y como siempre arraso con esta semana de la moda.

Camila made glamorous and classy statements with a pink velvet skirt with fringe and plain a white tee, red silk with patterns of cheetah some patterns bigger than others and  black pants with ruffles with a silk polka dot blouse. She is all about a combination of girly and edgy  but never leaving behind her classy side.

Camila se expuso de una manera glamorosa y clásica con todos sus looks. Algunos como una falda de terciopelo rosa con flequillos combinada con una camisa básica blanca de algodón, también un vestido de seda con patrones de leopardo de diferentes tamaños y finalmente un pantalón con arandelas junto con una blusa negra de seda con puntos blancos. Su estilo siempre es sobre ser femenina e inquieta pero nunca perdiendo su clase.

Aimee used a lot of blush tones and two of my favorite outfits were  first a pink satin slip dress over a pink coat  that was of a rustic material and  also this flowy dress with lace that combined cream and blush tones. She also put together a satin slip dress that had a silver tone with a blush sweater, simple, easy and classy. Finally she used this sequin metallic dress that was to kill for.

Aimee uso muchos tonos rosas o «blush» y dos de mis looks favorites fueron, un vestido de satín rosa con una abrigo de un material rústico que tenía un tono de  rosa un poco más oscuro y el otro que es un vestido super movido con encaje y tonos crema y blush. Por otro lado también usó un vestido de satín con tono plateado y un saco rosa. Finalmente arrasó con un vestido metálico de lentejuelas.

Black on top of black and some more black + a red splash were today’s combo for an edgy vibe.

Negro encima de negro y un poco más de negro + una explosión de rojo fue el combo de hoy que formó un look inquieto.

It was one of those moments when you are scrolling down through instagram and  see chokers  and black clothing and at the same time this new pair of black heels is in front of you which you have not worn yet and suddenly this idea comes to your mind and yes or yes you have to put it on.

Fue uno de esos momentos en los que estas mirando instagram y ves fotos de chokers, de ropa negra, y tienes unos zapatos nuevos divinos al frente tuyo sin estrenar y de repente se te viene ala mente esta idea increíble y si o si tienes que ponertelo.

The outfit consisted on basic pieces that together made a cool and edgy outfit. First I started with a long sleeve oversized black blouse, which was only button once in the center button, and underneath the shirt, a black crop top for layering. For bottoms I just wore some distress jean shorts.

El look consistió en una combinación de piezas básicas  que juntas formaron una pinta  cool y un poco inquieta. Primero empecé con una blusa manga larga negra que me queda grande y la abotone solo en un botón en el centro. Debajo de esta me puse un crop top negro para jugar con las capas. Para la parte de abajo simplemente fui con unos shorts de jean gastados.

For accessories I combined a black thick choker which has a seahorse charm and also this hoop with tones of gold and silver, my rose gold watch and sunnies and a metallic calvin klein clutch.

Para los accesorios hice una combinación de un choker grueso negro que tiene un dije de un caballito de mar con una cadena gruesa dorada que tiene un aro con oro y plata. También me puse mi reloj de oro rosa y las gafas de la misma tonalidad y un sobre metálico.

Shoes, shoes, shoes; The love of my life. Fresh from the bag were this black lace up pumps, which gave the finish tone for the edgy tone of the outfit.

Zapatos, Zapatos, Zapatos; El amor de mi vida. Estos tacones negros recién sacados de la bolsa eran de amarrar hasta arriba con cordones y fueron el toque final para este look inquieto.

I was in mood for wearing cap (I’m kind of obsessed) but I also wanted to look girly, so I decided to combine the formal with the informal to create a cool but cute outfit that has an urban vibe to it.

Tenía ganas de ponerme una pinta que tuviera gorra (estoy un poco obsesionada) pero al mismo tiempo quería que mi look fuera coqueto, entonces decidí combinar lo formal con lo informal y así crear una pinta cool pero femenina que como resultado tuvo una vibra urbana.

The base of the outfit was the skirt, and to go with the tones of the skirt I chose a basic grey t-shirt.

La base del look era la falda entonces para ir con las tonalidades de la falda, escogí una camisa básica de color gris.

The clutch is more on the elegant side but it went well with the vibe of in-formal and it made a nice contrast with the grey.

El sobre plateado se va por el lado elegante, pero iba perfectamente con la vestimenta In-formal y también hacía un buen contraste con el gris.

The cap I choose was a dark blue one I bought in Greece for my dad (don’t tell him I took it), it gives a nice form to your head and it blends in with the greys of the skirt.

La gorra que escogí fue una azul oscura que compre en Grecia como un regalo para mi papá (no le digan que la cogí), esta da buena forma a la cabeza y se mezcla perfectamente con los tonos grises de la falda.

For shoes I selected my training sneakers from Nike, which not only were very comfortable but also made a great combination with the skirt because it gave the look a more relaxed vibe.

Para los zapatos escogí mis tenis de entrenar de Nike, los cuales no son solamente muy cómodos pero además combinan muy bien con la falda ya que le da al look una vibra más relajada.

I don’t know about you but I love me a pair of shoes, so I want to share with you three basic shoes that you should have in your closet.

No se ustedes pero yo amo un par de zapatos, por eso hoy quiero compartirles tres zapatos básicos que deberían tener en su closet.

My style is very eclectic, so you can see me one day with a pair of heels and the next with a pair of converse. First every girl should have a pair of high heels, but I choose a classic, pointy black heels because it will always make an outfit stand out when necessary. For sneakers I feel everybody should have a basic white pair because they go with everything and will save you in several occasions. And for the flats, they are comfortable and they make your outfit cute so, they are perfect for a casual evening. With this three pairs of shoes you should be ready for any occasion, either a elegant night out, for running some errands and a casual evening.

Mi estilo es muy ecléctico, un día me puedes ver en un par de tacones súper altos y al día siguiente me encuentras con unos converse y unos jeans. Cada mujer debe de tener unos tacones en su closet, pero para mi deben de ser específicamente estos tacones clásicos que son puntiagudos y negros. Estos harán que cualquier look sobresalga. Por otro lado un par de tenis blancos son un requerimiento en tu closet. Estos son perfectos para cualquier ocasión en la que no sepas qué ponerte y no vas a un lugar muy elegante. Estos te salvarán en varias ocasiones. Finalmente el último zapato que debes de tener en tu closet son unas baletas negras, estas son muy comodas y ademas van con todo tipo de pintas, pero especialmente para una ocasión de noche en la cual quieras arreglarte un poco. Con estos tres pares de zapatos tienes lo necesario para cualquier tipo de ocasión, sea para salir a un lugar elegante en la noche, para ir a hacer vueltas o para una salida casual en la noche.

It was my Birthday and I just needed to feel and look like a total Queen. I wanted to look sexy but at the same time look cute. A combination of white, baby blue and nude tones made it possible.

Llego el día de mi cumpleaños y quería sentirme y verme como una reina. Tenia en mente crear una pinta que me hiciera ver sexy pero al mismo tiempo esa lado coqueto y femenino. La combinación del blanco, el azul bebe y los tonos piel lo hicieron posible.

The skirt and the blouse are statement pieces that combined together make a unique look. The white skirt has sequin, embroidery and cuts in different directions that put together with the baby blue blouse, which is has a plain color but the perfect cut with the off shoulders make this pieces complement each other perfectly. The feminine touch is given mostly by the off shoulders blouse  and it’s also very on trend in this moment.

Tanto la falda como la blusa son piezas llamativas que combinadas hacen la pinta unica. La falda blanca tiene lentejuelas, bordados y cortes en distintas direcciones que en combinación con la blusa azul bebe, que es plana pero con los hombros expuestos llevan a que al juntar estas dos piezas sean el complemento perfecto. El toque femenino  lo dan mas que todo los hombros descubiertos y además es una tendencia del momento.

The nude sandals are a must for me, and in this case are the perfect combo with the tones in the outfit. First of all the nude heels help my legs look longer so they go well with the go well with the purpose of the skirt and the nude color make the outfit look sexy but at the same time feminine and cute.

Las sandalias color piel o nude son triviales en mi closet y en este caso hacen un combo perfecto con los tonos del look. Primero que todo los tacones piel hacen el efecto de unas piernas más largas entonces siguen el propósito de la falda. Por otro lado el color de las sandalias hace que el look sea sexy, coqueto y femenino al mismo tiempo.

For accessories I kept it simple, I put on my rose gold watch and to combined with the heels I wore a nude clutch. For sunglasses I decided to put on the Rose gold round sunnies because they are very feminine and everywhere right now.

Para los accesorios decidí irme por el lado simple, me puse mi reloj de color rosa y un sobre color piel que va en combinación con los zapatos. Para las gafas escogí las redondas color rosa ya que son femeninas y además están super de moda en el momento.

I was feeling Summer today and I was enjoying the new additions of my closet. This look is cute, stylish and very on trend. It’s perfect for any summer day and also very comfortable.

Hoy me sentía completamente en verano y estaba disfrutando las nuevas adiciones de mi closet. Esta pinta es coqueta, con estilo y muy a la moda. Es perfecta para cualquier día del verano y además es muy cómoda.

A white crop top with some very cute details combined with high waisted light wash shorts are the base of this outfit but are not the main attraction. What makes this look so perfect is the combination with the nude gladiators.

Un crop top blanco que tiene unos detalles muy delicados combinado con un short de cintura alta de un lavado claro son la base de la pinta pero no son la atracción principal. Lo que hace este look tan perfecto es la combinación con las gladiadoras piel.

This Zara nude sandals are the perfect type of gladiators because they give you a touch to your outfit without looking out of line.

Estas sandalias color piel de Zara son las perfectas gladiadoras porque le dan un toque a tu look sin que la pinta se vea fuera de línea.

For accessories I decided to keep it simple. A rose gold watch with some random rings and rose gold round sunnies. This sunglasses make a nice combination to the color of the gladiators. Finally for the bag I decided to use this nude Michael Kors medium bag that also has a rose undertone and is the perfect size to fit everything you need.

Con respecto a los accesorios decidí mantenerlo simple. Todos con tonos rosa o piel, empezando por el reloj que es de color oro rosa combinado con unos cuantos anillos y unas gafas redondas de color oro rosa también que hacen una perfecta combinación con las gladiadoras. Finalmente el bolso que me puse es uno de color piel de Michael Kors que tiene tonos rosa y es el tamaño perfecto para llevar todo lo que necesitas.
