New York: the push you need

Nueva York tiene una vibra inexplicable: Los límites no existen para hacer y ser quién quieres ser. Pero también si no estás seguro de saber quién eres, la ciudad te impulsa a explorar a un ritmo audaz, a atreverte, a intentarlo, a saltar sin pensarlo tanto. 

Es una sensación inexplicable, como cuando la adrenalina te protege del dolor, NY te impulsa y te anima a ser 100% auténtico sin sentir el miedo de ser juzgado por intentarlo.

NY es para todos y los espacios y sitios que se pueden visitar, las actividades que se pueden hacer son interminables, además se puede caminar a todas partes (no hay excusas para hacer algo que te guste) y ya se imaginarán además los outfits que la gente usa: Increíbles, pero ante todo únicos. Claramente durante NYFW el nivel de creatividad aumentaba significativamente pero estés visitando durante la semana de la moda o no, las calles siempre están llenas de moda.

Pasar por partes turísticas como Times Square o el puente de Brooklyn y escuchar la canción “Empire State of Mind” de Alicia Keys, es reiterar esa sensación, aunque cliché, que esta ciudad te hace sentir. Realmente ´Nada es imposible´… “the lights will inspire you…”.

Además no es solo la ciudad sino la gente que la compone, nadie limita a nadie, se podría decir que al contrario todos te empujan (por omisión) a que lo intentes. Nueva York y su gente son esa energía que necesitas para salir adelante.

Esto, precisamente lo que necesitaba para volver a disfrutar la moda: Nueva York.

New York has an inexplicable vibe: There are no limits to doing and being who you want to be. But also if you’re not sure you know who you are, the city pushes you to explore at a daring pace, to try, to jump without thinking so much.
It’s an inexplicable feeling, like when adrenaline protects you from pain, NY pushes you and encourages you to be 100% authentic without feeling the fear of being judged for trying.

NY is for everyone and the spaces and places you can visit, the activities you can do are endless, plus you can walk everywhere (there are no excuses to do something you like) and you can imagine the outfits people wear: Amazing, but above all unique. Clearly during NYFW the level of creativity increased significantly but whether you are visiting during fashion week or not, the streets are always full of fashion.

Passing through touristy parts like Times Square or the Brooklyn Bridge and listening to the song «Empire State of Mind» by Alicia Keys, is to reiterate that feeling, even if cliché, that this city makes you feel increidible. Truly nothing is imposible… «the lights will inspire you…».

Besides it’s not just the city but the people that make it up, no one limits anyone, you could say that on the contrary everyone pushes you (by omission) to try. New York and its people are the energy you need to get ahead.

This, precisely what I needed to enjoy fashion again: New York.
